Sorry for your loss. But I still have to bring up the fact that this is EA. Your savegame is not guaranteed.

I would be pissed as well, so there is that, regardless of the reason. Put it down for 6 months and you will be ready to play again.

i've played hundreds of EA games, never had this issue in like 8-9 years. there's no EXCUSE to save wipe for RESTARTING the server, and the game in public server have the same issue, you can't defend this.

it true but i cant get past lvl15 because of a sound bug replayed 5 times and i stoped play their is something wrong with this game their broken i dont thank tasolth was defending palworld i thank he has a true heart what your feeling im pissed to point no return for this game and then i heard it was a cash grab is lvl 44 fun is the world big?

not much to work with here. if you played online, then tough luck. if you played singleplayer, then you have nothing to worry about as the game makes hourly back ups of save files. just disable steam cloud saving and follow the instructions from the Q&A button from the info screen when u launch the game, it tells you exactly how to restore back up save files. (as does some steam guides/youtube videos)

edit: from your second post i assume you played online which sadly has no cheat protection, also the game warns about them being experimental, so its better to just stick to private run player servers or singleplayer

yes, had a lot of things i wanted to do yet too, loved everything about the game. but after this... this type of bug is UNACCEPTABLE. is the only type of bug that is not FORGIVABLE.

i overwrited since i though it was a login bug only, it wiped my character. and the "featured backup" is only ONE SAVE BACK, and the save file WEIGHTS LIKE 5 MB, WHY ONLY ONE SAVE BACK WITH THIS WEIGTH OF SAVED DATA.

"still in development, you may encounter bugs" its not a warning that the game suffers from progress wipping in long term.
