this, i was struggling hard against jetragon until i tried fire pal and poison crossbow for damage over time effects, which made it easy to get a non-cheat kill

why would you fight them together? ones nocturnal, fight it at night first, then fight the other after it wakes up

Get yourself a Frostallion and whenever the dragon uses a dangerous attack like fire tornados, fire ball or the laser swarm recall your pal. Rinse repeat until fight is over.

just as cheaty as turning jetragon into a ice cube and then blasting it into space with a rocketlauncher i'd say

Generally, you first need the heat resist pal armor. Bring 100 legend balls and stun, freeze, burn etc. ammunition + weapons. Keep it statused at all times. Switch your partners when they are low on health. Don't give up! It is catchable without cheesing or cheating!

I hate this boss becouse he are stucking every time in the scenario and losting live for this. I can see this is a not true challenge becouse this boss has a horrible movimentation. Unfortunated becouse the bugs, the player are abusing with this system to take the boss. Really they need fix this.

I caught him after getting Frostallian, the additional health these legendary pals have help greatly in capturing other legendary pals.. in this case, Ice is strong vs dragons

What I did was capture two/three Blazmuts which I rotated to capture my first Frostallian. Once I had frost, I improved the stats to max and then just simply set it on Jetragon. Even without staring up Frostallian, it is capable of taking down Jetdragon without your help. I just concentrated on avoiding Jetdragon's attack when its attention was focused on me rather than Frostallian. Given how hard I found getting Frostallian (pre capture rate fix), I wouldn't recommend fighting Jetragon without a legendary pal, given how much faster movement he has than other pals.

If your capture rate is maxed through the effigies, you should only need a handful of legendary spheres to capture Jetragon once his health is down to below 1000 health, the lower the better obviously. Since the capture rate fix I rarely needed more than five legendary spheres to capture jetragon at less than 500 hp (I need over 20 prior to the fix).

The key thing for me fighting Jetragon is making sure you don't get cornered whilst rolling out of the way of his attacks. The area has a lot of places where you can just get stopped mid roll/dodge and thus you getting obliterated by some of jetragon's bigger attacks.

Once you are familiar with his attack rotation, it's fairly simple to avoid his big attacks. He will occasionally charge you to try to use his aoe dark attack on you, here you need to position yourself around a tree so he doesn't actually bull rush you, you can be killed by him just simply crashing into you if your shields are gone and low on health.

Also note, the game has some sort of mechanism where if your level or pal level is significantly lower than what you are fighting, you have a damage reduction modifier. Not sure what the threshold is, but from what I seen I wouldn't recommend attempting to fight a legendary that is four or more levels higher than you unless you want to spend an hour dodging and whittling 1 hp a time off it's massive health pool! I caught frostallian at lvl 47 and it took me so long, that it actually went to sleep when nightfall hit!

dont know if someone else mentioned this but throw a legendary sphere at it at night while its sleeping using the back bonus. very low chance but if you're lucky you avoided one of the hardest fights in palworld
