Happened to me while riding a surfent; didn't have the stamina to climb my way back to the surface, so I'm never getting that inventory back. If only I'd had rocks and wood on me, I could've build a palbox and teleported to safety.

This happened to me but I was trying to get off of my Shadowbeak (unlike flyers with floating idle poses Shadowbeak will sink in the water) but instead of dismounting I clipped into the deep ocean and fell forever.

I was sent back to my base though with no penalty after awhile so that was nice, still odd though!

I'm playing singleplayer so I don't quite need to do it, but it would make the ultimate base location in multiplayer for hiding from other players by placing your base somewhere far under the ocean after using the spot to clip out of bounds lol

It is replicate-able until it gets patched, I managed to do it multiple times in a row once I figured out the angle so I could make a better clip of it

Goodluck Just check the clip in my first comment, I wasnt even trying to do it, There is an effigy at the top of the cliff there and I was going to get off Azurobe to climb the cliff to get it and the game said "Nope, Underwater time" lol

I managed to climb the shore of the the island at the top of the map screenshot, its landmass connects to the ocean floor and had a spot where I was able to get back to the surface

I didn't have a flying pal with me
