Any way to assign a Pal to ONLY do transporting tasks?

I have a Wumpo Botan and a base that has way too many rocks and trees to the point my logging and breaking pals keep breaking those and ignoring the actual stone/wood generator. Any way I can get these Pals to just focus on picking up things instead of any other task?

Use a pal that only has transport task or transport and another task that isn't used at the base, my mining base has 4 orseks and 4 astegos works like a charm.

I was mostly wondering if there was a way to tell him to stop logging/planting and the like because he's my (currently) only Rank 5 transport. But considering your answer I take it there isn't a way to do so.

Normally a way to assign most else (Only work on this stone production, only charge the generators, etc.) but Transport seems to be one of the ones that you can't.

You could block the tree and boulder respawns by placing foundations (or other things) in the way. Sadly doesn't seem to work on the little individual sticks and rocks on the ground though, they still spawn and pals just pick it up through the foundation, unless you raise the foundation abnormally high then, at least in my experience, they just get stuck trying to navigate to those branches/stones anyway.

That’s actually an issue too: Those spawns are not only everywhere, but the base is already fully built.

Just didn’t want to have to do more work and had hoped at the time there had been a way to just tell specific pals “Hey, you’re on pickup duty” instead of having to dig up all my work and baby-proof it again, you know?
