- you can breed them to pass on the lucky trait which comes with +15 to attack and work speed, so feel free to use them in base.
-use them in combat as they can come with powerful attacks (my Lamball came with Hydro Laser, and my Robinquill came with Ignis Rage) and they have better stats than regular pals of the same "species" and level.
- breed those attacks into other pals.
-or quite simply show them off, as they are larger than another pal of the same "species".
Overall, they are just a neat little addition to add in some luck and randomization, but you don't "need" them, though they can help you in early to mid-game, or if you are at the very end-game and want to add a challenge to pal collection.
