So who is constantly griefing?

I have to wonder who it is going server to server on the public servers nonstop to delete basses, destroy pals, insta kill players and crash servers. I thought it was butthurt Pokemon fanboys, but the fact that they have been doing it nonstop for more than a week makes me wonder if there isn't some money behind it. I have the if it was just some turdheads I think they would have gotten bored of it by now and moved on to transferring their own self-hate onto someone or something else. But it is still happening constantly. Are these people trying to extort Pocket Pair to get them to stop, or is it a competitor (can't imagine who) paying Chinese hackers to do this. I say Chinese hackers because they were conversing in ana Asin language (do not know which) and when I cursed them after destroying my base, they changed my player name to "Chine#1" and several other players names to something similar. But that could just be misdirection as well.

I've been thinking the same as the OP.

I've spent a lot of time on the Official servers.
I've been full and partial wiped, killed, palbox deleted, base deleted, Had someone join my guild and make themselves guild leader, name and guild name changed to China#1, sometimes all together, other times just 1 or 2 things. Most often is palbox deletion.

Never once has the person doing this said anything. No gloating, none of the usual trolling that you expect from the minds that do this sort of thing for fun. They don't seem interested in any response from their victims. They just do their damage and move to the next server.
I'm sure some of it is mentally ill people doing what they do for fun. But there are a lot of Official servers across many regions and they all get the same treatment at roughly the same time each day. Or this has been my experience.
It's just feeling less and less like malicious trolls and more like some actual planed deliberate disruption.

Whatever is left of 4chan for ♥♥♥♥♥ and giggles, potentially contract work for some other similar group, and I’ll throw a fringe theory out too: some group of ARK players and/or a Youtuber and their fans(was no mass hacking but no jokes some asshat off YouTube got their following to ddoss, essentially, the warhammer 3 discussions for like a month, point being this crap does happen)

ARK is a cesspit, and it’s no glitch or exploit that official servers are dominated by mentality of one group going around and…destroying everyone’s bases.

Now if you were that split in the head to willingly play ARK(imho, cos that game is absolutely a grift on some level and utter garbo quality development), who revels in a game where putting down new players is the norm…and then this new survival game comes out “for kids and liberals” cos gotta know some absolute mouth breathing incels in this theory right, that absolutely dunks on ARKs numbers, public reception etc, with little bit of programming skills?(not like hacking PCs with ransomware right, PP just left default backdoor open on the unreal engine far as I get what’s going on) Well. Makes some sense to me at least.

Could be anyone. I personally knew a few Minecraft hackers and griefers and they were in general terrible people to hang around with (I'm talking severe mental illness, drug problems, swinging threats left and right, always blaming others for their problems and looking to tear down others' lives, etcetera). It doesn't take a foreign agent to be a griefer. All it takes is one ♥♥♥♥♥♥-up, internet-savvy jerk with a chip on their shoulder and zero ♥♥♥♥♥ to give. I'm not saying foreign troll farms don't exist, but the answers are rarely ever that simple.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't they need to do something illegal (in China) to get around the Great Firewall of China? Like, aren't they literally proving how crappy their country is, by having to going around its own censorship to attack everyone else?
