Automatic Backups for Dedicated Server Multiplayer
My friends and I have been playing on a dedicated palworld server that I host. I do not know what happened, but our worlds save data was corrupted and the server was completely wiped including base, characters, pals, etc... I was trying to find out if there are backup saves for dedicated servers, but everything I try is unable to restore my server to before the corruption. Is there anything I can do or am I screwed and we will have to start anew.

If anybody knows how to save dedicated multiplayer server backups to prevent this from happening in the future then that would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

I am having the same issue. I have not found a solution yet. Do you have your own backups? If not, you are probably out of luck. I restore from a backup and my SAV file is 17MB. After I login, my data is wiped, and my SAV file goes down to 10MB. Fortunately, I have been manually backup it up. I have reported it as a bug, but no luck yet.

I've simply archived the save folder in a zip file and kept that for when I wanted to restore.

there's now an automatic backup functionality working similar to single player. https://tech.palworldgame.com/settings-and-operation/configuration#about-bisusebackupsavedata

From what I can tell, the data gets wiped, and then it does the automatic backup. I have saved ZIP files too.
