Ore mining site 1 or 2 question (for those that have used both)

Question being is there any significant difference between them besides size and visuals?

Started a new world and plan to make use of it but used an old world to try and see difference between but didn't really notice anything.
So wondering if anyone's found out yet or not.

mine faster and you get more ore from Ore mining site 2 when you max out you are mining pal you need 1 Ore mining site 2 you got so much I have three maxed out Fuddler with Work Slave & Serious & Lucky & Artisan work at Ore mining site 2

Ore site one is almost a worthless joke, three or four ore site twos however with a base full of Anubis or your miner of choice, and you'll be swimming in more ore than you know what to do with in an in game week or so.

I disagree. 3 digtoise at one level 1 ore site will get you about 200 ore in 30 minutes. its much more efficient then building a base around 8 ore nodes (taking up a ton of space) and waiting for them to respawn.
