Cant join any dedicated server
I can't connect to any dedicated server even the one i'm hosting, but my friends can still connect to me and I can connect to coop games just not dedicated ones.
I've tried the dll transfer method and still no fix even reinstalling the server and game.

same here. Yesterday it was due to the dedicated server. Saw a hotfix today and tried updating my server. Now it seems to be the problem with the game :C

Can confirm this. Probably some codemonkey forgot that it was a server-side only update and changed the server's internal version number. A fix will have to be pushed out to clients or to servers.

I am running a dedicated server via linux GSM. I logged in late last night and saw there was an update that was pushed. When applying it to the server, I found the dedicated wouldn't boot due to an incorrect default configuration. Right now the default config for the game server executable points the to an executable that no longer exists. The change was to "PalServer-Linux-Shipping" from "PalServer-Linux-Test". It would seem this is a change in the binaries that wasn't accounted for in my LinuxGSM framework, and potentially other systems. I was able to resolve it by creating an entry in the common config (you can also do so in the instance config) to overwrite the incorrect default with the new executable:

executable="./PalServer-Linux-Shipping"

Because this is a server I am hosting within my internal network I am using the Private IP address, but once it booted I was able to connect. I am working on verifying external network access to the server with some friends today. Not sure if this is your specific issue, but something to look into on your dedicated to see if something similar has happened.

Oh my dedicated boots. It just won't connect due to a version mismatch. Also running a Linux server (Ubuntu).

Have any admin restart the server. If your stuff is set up properly, it'll update on restart! Just did it for mine.
