Can confirm this. Probably some codemonkey forgot that it was a server-side only update and changed the server's internal version number. A fix will have to be pushed out to clients or to servers.

Because this is a server I am hosting within my internal network I am using the Private IP address, but once it booted I was able to connect. I am working on verifying external network access to the server with some friends today. Not sure if this is your specific issue, but something to look into on your dedicated to see if something similar has happened.
Oh my dedicated boots. It just won't connect due to a version mismatch. Also running a Linux server (Ubuntu).
