Question about the new fruits...

Is there a limit to how many Power Fruits, Life Fruits and Stout Fruits we can give to the same pal or can we raise their stats through the roof?

I asked my question after I read the post about the update. I never said I found them.
But if I had to guess, Id say fruit trees. You could also try talking to item merchants. I know some of them sell skill fruits. I wouldnt be surprised if some of them sold the new fruits as well.

There is a limit. You cant jsut raise stats through the roof. Seems the limit differs also per pal. On some i was able to use 5 on others 1-2. Not sure yet why, could be they have a certain cap for stats aswel.

They probaly work similar like the hidden training stats in pokemon game where you cant pass 31 IV with bottle caps. There is a limit for sure.

Lvl 1 Anubis with 0 IV has 565 Hp while one with 30 has 583 on same lvl.

But fruit only drops from new boss, so dont think you can just farm it easy. However you can make strongest pal this way, saving you time breeding and getting perfect 4 gold stats under.

I assume if your Pal IV stat is already at max via selective breeding , it won't be able to eat the fruit ?

Darn... I hope those fruits dont exist just to raise a pals IVs... It took me sooooo long just to breed a Lyleen Noct with perfect IVs and passive skills. It would be frustrating and utterly useless (for me, at least) to have those fruits now! Meh... at the same time, it also means that I can do some tests right away. Ill start the game and see if I can obtain a fruit after beating a raid boss. Ill cross my fingers and pray that these fruits arent just bottle caps.

EDIT: Geh... I can confirm it. Its like you guys said. Those fruits are the same as bottle caps. Sigh... And here I was, super excited when I read the patch notes, thinking that I could raise the stats of my Lyleen Noct even more... Oh well! Back to farming tech point books, I guess. T_T

Couldn't use the new fruit on a max IV attack pal, new fruits are nice i guess

Given there's IVs in the game, they could well be raising base stats to allow people to optimise their team without breeding. It'd be interesting to see some data on this, if someone's willing to do some catching and test it.

Honestly . i am happy about it , cus all the randomness and RNG have driven me crazy in pursuit of a perfect Shadowbeak with max out IV and Dark wisp , it like trying to win lottery . Baby not guarantee to inherit parent stats and game can screw you by giving it 1 IV just because , even though both parent don't have said stats .

I already did pretty much everything this game has to offer, so I was really hoping to raise the stats of my pals like crazy with those fruits... Oh well! Maybe Ill be able to do that in the next big patch. Who knows? 🤞🤞
