dead game?

probably a combination of several factors, its also a weekday so most would be at work anyway until evening

I'm waiting for new content, game of the year for me even with me loving Last Epoch right now. I play on my own server anyway so you wouldn't see me in pubs lolz

no seems like a genuine question, their post history is mainly in helldivers which does encourages its players to play on official servers unlike palworld where they still need to implement an anticheat

as a few have stated a lot of players are on private or single player as the servers have had cheating issues among other things
the game is far from dead but there will be gaps with these titles so do NOT expect "quick" fixes
also many are waiting for the next update!
so will return when there is more to do and the server system works better!

Not everyone enjoys playing multiplayer. I'm still exploring my world, solo, and building up my bases whenever I get the time to play. I doubt I'm the only one.

My son and his friends played together, finished all the current bosses as quickly as they could, and moved on to another game until further updates. Don't forget, it's still in early access. More content will be coming.

Do you go into the Digimon/Cassette Beasts/Coromon/etc. games' discussions and ask these disingenuous questions, or is Palworld your only target?

Ok I'll give the benefit of the doubt that this isn't pure bait, and maybe OP just hasn't been around enough to read the room and know that "dead game" is a mantra of people that are more interested picking fights than playing something.

The game is far from dead, it's still getting daily player peaks of 75-100k and the devs are clearly putting a lot of work into it. But yeah, the public/official servers are a mess and a lot of people are avoiding them. People are mostly sticking to private servers or single player, or moving on to other games. Devs have said they're working on anti-cheat solutions, so it's probably better to wait for an update or two if you want to mingle with the public.

i don't really understand why anyone would want to play alone. i don't have to be directly playing with people but the world just feels so empty without seeing other bases or people just doing their thing.

playing a relaxing game without thinking about other people or real life worries can be enjoyable on its own, immersion and stuff
