1-2 seconds of water spill and a farm is instantly done. Or thousands of flour, Paldium Fragments made at the blink of an eye. There is no going back after trying the longer and bigger.
If there's anything I'd like to see, its failsafe mechanics.
I suppose I could go with a direwolf (fastest land-only mount) but there's a few dungeons with those tall cliffs you have to climb/fly up, and I'd rather stat mounted on one pal for the whole dungeon than have to switch out. Flying is also faster for going over the areas with water.
I suppose I ought to try one of the triple-jump mounts though- maybe one of them can jump up the cliff?
My preferred land mount is Rayhound though, since it has the double jump and a relatively compact form.

One thing that strikes me as odd about Palidius is that it can triple while Necromus can only double. Looking at the base stats online, they have the same base HP but inverted Attack and Defense; Necro has higher attack, lower defense, Palid is vice-versa. Seems like the balance is more in favor of Palid due to its partner skill. I wonder if this was intentional?
