Map changes in the future?
Disclaimer: I did not complete the game even once yet, I'm a relatively new player

But keeping that in mind, there is one question on my mind since the start: This game won't be to replayable once i see the whole map and complete Paldeck, I wonder if they change/add/randomize the map?

One Idea I already had is to just die and respawn on other respawn point to have a different starting location, but you still know where everything is. Since this game is still early access, wouldn't it be cool if they remade the entire map for the final release, whenever it might be? And maybe reshuffle some of the Pals levels (as in how early you find a particular Pal), and maybe change some Pals abilities to be higher or lower to reflect their usefulness per level? I think it would be cool, and would allow the old players to basically re-experience the whole thing over again. And there are other solutions like procedural generation game mode, or stuff like that. They shouldn't ever remove a fixed map, since its fun to share base spots, but a separate game mode with procedural world would also be fun.

To be clear, I don't think the game needs it to earn its price, I'm 66 hours in, and nowhere near running out of ideas for stuff to do, it more than earned the money, its just an idea I had

but you need certain pals for your roster and base. If you don't even know where they are, then you can't get them. Who would really want to go through the whole process again, but not even be able to get the pals they want? Exploring isn't even fun, the fun is in building up. Totally new maps with new things would be nice. Totally new maps where everything's the same, but you can't even find them is Not.

I don't think a random map is the solution. Players would then focus only on it's resource. e.g. Oh I got lucky and this random try I can mine couple of ore. And when they get those items they need, it no longer has replay value.

The current map has a lot more value. Beautiful landscapes, good places to setup a base, exploration is fun.

I think replay value is determine by players. For example a shooting game only had that few limited small maps, but it can be replay for decades when different players logged in everyday. I've long finished palworld, but when I start it all over with another friend, the fun experience is back all over again. Friend needs certain pal to work better or to defend. New base setup at a new place and you have new things to manage. You'd never run out of things to do.
