how to get sulfur

im trying to get started on gunpowder production but have no clue how to get sulfur so can anyone help me out a bit?

There are guide you can look up, but providing only basic information of where to seek yourself: look in dungeons, or search in the volcanic region on the west side of the map(which you will need heat protection to acquire). There are nodes scattered various locations across the map, but I can't name any off the top of my head.

And for when you get to quartz, look in snowy region.

If you look in the desert where ANubis is located you can find a node that respawns just south of him

I like to jump to Eternal Pyre Tower entrance Fast travel in the fire island then fly to
-608, -507

-592, -403

-492, -517

Three pretty good locations with many sulfur

Go to the volcanic region in the west. There's a boss tower called Tower of the Brothers of the Eternal Pyre. Right a the tower is a rich source of sulfur, yellow rock that can be mined, it stands out pretty well you will know when you see it.

Sulfur is gained from large yellowish rocks.

You can find these in a couple of places such as:
In dungeons (usually the first room).
In the desert regions.
In the volcano regions.

In general, Coal is also found at the places Sulfur can be found. But is instead a large blackish rock. You'll need it later.

Just like Ore, your pals need Mining 2 or higher to mine it.

Just buy your ammo from the dealers. I always buy some for my musket when I can so I don't have to make it.
