C'mon, "cheeky bastard!" is the thing said whenever a pal escapes a sphere. Can we have some slightly more intuitive AI monitoring for cursing in usernames, at least?

Word filters aren't AI. But yeah, ass is used in so many other words that it often trolls word filters. You can't even tell people to go touch gr***.

Offensive word and name censorship is a standard requirement for games on Xbox. Personally, I would rather that PocketPair add separate settings for PC, but I'll settle with them working on far more important issues and pushing PalWorld along the path to Version 1.0.

Interesting that they'd add a filter to the Steam version.

Even on PC, the XBGP / Windows App (or is it Microsoft App, w/e) version doesn't even allow you to choose a name for your trainer (it's set to "Player <some number>"), or rename your Pals (the button doesn't exist). I figured that the reason was that it was easier to just not support those functions, than to build a censor that would meet whatever requirements Microsoft was specifying w/o being completely half-assed about it and flagging way too many false positives.

Ah, my bad, I just know it's automated and didn't know the term. There should at least be a way we can toggle the filter on/off (granted, it's in alpha, so :P).

In my case it's super annoying, since I tag my best pals with the (german) term "Ass" (wich means something similar to "ace").. Now you would say "then use ace instead" but that's a term germans use, when something to drink has those vitamins A-C-E concentrated so that's still quite a weird feeling left.. imagine being upset about a bodypart everyone knows as A-S-S anyway.. It's just straight bull
