Egg hatching bug regarding passive skill
After 0.1.5 update today, pals hatched from egg 100% retain certain passive skills, even though neither of the parent has this skill. Example: two Paladius (one has runner ONLY and the other has runner and nimble ONLY). 10 eggs hatched, all of them has at least Legend and Celestial Emperor; neither of the parent has these two skills. Don't have this issue before, only comes out after 0.1.5. Currently, I've similar issue in following pals: hatched Relaxaurus 100% has glutton; hatched Astegon 100% has hard skin.
Anyone has same issue? C'mon Pocketpair, stop updating with more bugs, you guys are supposed to fix them...

Interesting... Sounds like pals with innate skills gain those skills even from eggs. I haven't bred any pals with those type of skills so I can't confirm myself but that's a big yikes. Does it still happen if the parents have at least 4 different skills to pass on?

That.. might actually be intentional, not a bug. Of course, it would make said pals more limiting.. but it also gives you a way to obtain these traits if you desire them.

I didn't even know Emperor skills existed until I got raided by a pal who had it during a raid. Which likely meant they were the source of said traits.. and that you likely wouldn't be able to get them with that trait outside of raids or boss battles. And some Pals are just outright not encounterable outside of Event Raids.

Oh man i was actually gonna say you're just complaining but i just hatched almost 100 Lyleen eggs and almost every single one has spirit emperor even though BOTH parents have artisan, serious, work slave and conceited.

And yeah, this if intentional was a terrible idea. Not only that it ruins the idea of breeding the pal you are looking for. If theyre just going to come with and retain garbage skills theres no point in breedng. Im glad other than a few fighting pals i literally just finished the ones for my base last night before the patch. These extra 100 eggs were for condensing and as i said all are trash to me anyway.

Edit: just saw another thread where its apparently a glitch .

Found it

・With the implementation of [Relax] work mode on the monitoring stand, the default work state of the base where a monitoring stand has already been placed is now set to [Relax]. As a result, the work speed of Pals at the base is slow. We apologize for the inconvenience, but please change the work mode from the monitoring stand.

・There is an issue where Pals created through breeding retain their passives. We plan to roll back this change as soon as possible.

I dont think its a glitch. I think its how it was originally supposed to be, but changing it to that so long after release was a bad idea imo. Kinda wish it had just launched like that as I actually think it would have made the game more interesting.

That said, they're reverting the change in a few days after feedback from the community so just hold off on breeding for a bit.

It's from their recent twitter post. (https://twitter.com/Palworld_EN/status/1762403250240942568).

Just saw that too. Hope they handle it ASAP. Otherwise there would be no reason for breeding.

Yeah they screwed up breeding completely, it's no fun now.
