Why change the Sex/Gender symbols colour?

So, the icons have been patched to be significantly lighter. Both symbols are now mostly white with a slight undertone of their previous colour.

Before patch the females had a nice dark red colour and the males stronger blue. It was so much faster to glance up in the corner recognise the colour than look at the actual symbol.

Sorting through thousands of Pals will now be significantly slower for me. So I have to ask.. why?

Doubt.
You add them into options, preferably several different kinds to be inclusive.

But doesn't being colour blind just make those colours appear grey?
So it's like they're making me colour blind...

Agreed. This change wasn't needed... or wanted. Why make something harder to look at.
Revert this change back in a couple of days too.
