Well I'm jazzed. Now I don't have to manually copy and paste the save in case it corrupts.
Imo, early game exp needs to be slower. I've noticed that I very quickly gain a whole bunch of levels up until like level 25, unlocking tons of stuff that I haven't had the time to gather materials for yet. Let alone catching enough or the right pals to man all the stations. Then between 25 and 32 or so the leveling is still good at first, and then quickly becomes slower. Until around 35~37 where I start to go out grinding dungeons and redoing bosses and tower bosses just to gain exp, not caring about the items I get.
The main issue with pal exp is that the first 10 catches give you a large bonus, but not your pals. So if you catch a lot of different pals in the beginning you quickly outlevel your pals. However it's better to only catch what you need/want and save that bonus exp for level 30+ when leveling starts slowing down very quickly.
The bonus exp system should just be removed and the leveling curve rebalanced imo. It was a nice idea to incentivise catching all the pals and catching at least 10 of each of them. But because of it the leveling curve is VERY skewed towards the first 25 or so levels.
