No, And I’m buying Never Grave when it comes out, too.
Fortnite is owned by Epic, designed by Epic, and marketed / patched BY EPIC.
Epic is a POWERHOUSE when it comes to protecting their IP, and Epic **HAS** to patch their game frequently to ensure that any potential hacks are dealt with IMMEDIATELY because that game sinking would RUIN their reputation more than it already has been with their undercutting, acquisition (and subsequent ruining of) Rocket League, and more.
Palworld is a team (originally, I'm not sure about now) of around a DOZEN developers vs the THOUSANDS that Epic employs. Do the math.
This was some fantastic mental gymnastics folks! Tune in next time for some pure grade A jestonium!
But I'll try to be more clear for you. Not every game needs to be a competitive pvp game as service driven by microtransactions. Comparing Palworld to Fortnite makes as much sense as comparing Baldurs Gate 3 to Fortnite.
After 7 years of course. But i was playing it since it had no Battle Royale mode. I remember how it was then. Budget 15 mln $. Small team. Same as palworld now. Epic =/= endless support. First read about facts, dont say that fortnite had thousands employees. Its not true. For example ubisoft has 21 000 employees. Doesn't mean that 21k people were working on ubisoft "Republic Riders" game.
If you couldn't keep patient, why didn't work for them? They are recruiting more staffs to complete their games though.
U still don't understand :/ Palworld is month after release. Fortnite month after release was coop "Save world" game. But they realized, adding PVP would make this game what it is now. So EPIC is smart. 11 updates in first month to fix bugs and add content. Pocketpair is not so smart i guess. With 20 mln sold copies they have enough budget to go same way as fortnite and update palworld to be huge and playable and keep player in game. They dont do that. And now most important. PALWORLD IS MULTIPLAYER GAME, so its not like baldur.
Im not working for game industry lol. Only slavers working there. app development is less stressful, probably better paid
