Can't play games while hosting Dedicated Server

I'm trying to host a Dedicated Server from my gaming laptop, but every time I try to test if it's working by playing Palworld on my desktop then I get this error message from Steam:

"Error-Steam
You are logged in on another computer already playing Palworld Dedicated Server.
Launching Palworld her will disconnect the other session from Steam."

I'm new at this dedicated server thing and would appreciate any help. Here is the guide I've been following, for reference.
