from random treasure chests you find around the map, the same as you find a copper and/or gold keys.
Gold Chest= Copper keys (sometimes in)
Purple Chest= Silver keys (sometimes in)
Red Chest= Gold Keys (sometimes in)

You can get a guaranteed Gold Key by killing the BIG Black Marketeer through cheese.
You'll get a handful of gold coins on top of it too.
With enough gold keys, your farm for silver keys and opening chest will be easier.
