Is there anywhere else to download this mod? I just don't want to create an account to download it from Nexus.

i will use Nexus instead of some weird shady sites but you do you.

its also on curseforge but idk why not just use nexus or ur scared it harvests data or something idk

Seeing as the mod will most likely get updates to it as time goes on there's little reason not to make an account. It's also the only way to reach the mod author if you need support or to report issues. Downloading it elsewhere isn't going to guarantee you'll have the latest version, or get support if it doesn't work.
