breeding alpha pals chance

I don't the exact but i'm going to guess around 3-8% as i more or less get one per batch of 20 cakes.

I must be either extremly unlukcy or maybe QoL mods that speed up breeding break some stuff... but I'm 500 Blazamut eggs in and I have not seen an alpha pal yet

It is around 1 in 10.
I always leave the base and let them breed large amount of eggs, and the alpha egg is obviously bigger.
In a row of 3x3 you will usually see 1 huge egg.

I have some breed speed mods and stuff and usually get 1 - 3 per batch of 21 eggs.

It might depend on the pal itself, there's certain pal combinations or the pal I'm using that seem to have a higher chance of producing a alpha. If I use one in particular couple, it's alphas 1 out of every 5. For others it's nothing, no chance it's looking like.

Are you, by chance, using Speeded up breeding (1 second for egg), that also changes cakes for beries as breeding requirement? I'm kinda looking for the cause of my "lack of luck" with alphas and this breeding mod is only thing I'm using, that mingles with breeding.
Unless it is like Twink enjoyer wrote- that some combinations simply do not work. In that case- damn.

no, it's 10 second one where they eat wood.... cause I always have more wood than anything else and I agree it's probably just random chance. I just find the whole breeding aspect a bit tedious. You have a random chance to get four passives and in 21 eggs you get like... maybe 1 or 2 with right passives. It's grind bloat and until they tweak that, I'll keep modding it.
