Suggestion: Mod Support
I see this game is still in development, so I thought I'd suggest something. An open-world game like this ought to have mod support. This would extend the games lifetime and give so much more to do and explore.

Imagine adding the following:

-Custom Pals
-Items
-Building items
-NPCs
-New maps
-Etc.

I have a hunch that Pokemon mods would become common if this were to be implemented.

People are already modding the game though. Check Nexus Mods.

I suggest you take a look at nexus and see all the mods there.

Pokemon Mods were an inevitability that's already been conceived/addressed/litigated over. Will more pop up? Possibly, I'm sure somewhere there's a closed-source modder drooling over his Pikachu. Is there any chance we'll see them in the wild? Not likely, at least, not likely if anyone that took the time to make it PLAYS this game because the moment they do the world's most litigious corporation will grab them by the throat, and they know it.

Even then, a game simply having a mod created for it that contains pokemon isn't grounds for Nintendorks to stand on and press charges against PoketPair as they're not the company funding, producing, or distributing the content. Simply because their platform created a venue to show it off isn't enough.

As for mod support, as aforementioned, it's already been discussed, and spoken of.

There are a lot of cool mods already, but no official support.
