Pals stuck to me while assigning them in my base

This started right after the newest update. I pick up my pal, go over to assign them to something and when i throw them they instantly get stuck to me. The only way to fix it is to fast travel somewhere else and even then sometimes they're still stuck to me. This makes it impossible to breed.
Has anyone else had this bug and how can I fix it? I sent in a bug to Palworld but haven't heard anything. I don't use any mods, just a single player dedicated server.

From what you're describing at first, they're trying pretty hard.

Double check that there isn't another command bound to the same key to throw! that's what fixed it for me :)

He means the pals are trying hard to breed, with you.
