Flying mounts wont fly...

Having some trouble with flying mounts except for one...Nitewing. Its the only one that will fly. The wife and I are playing two player co-op (Im hosting with no problems) we have caught a rangahawk and wyverm and both just hop like they are a ground mount. We are using WeMods but have also played without them to test if that was the problem. It wasnt. We think it could be the co-op thats causing the bug? Not sure. Its weird one flying mount works but others do not....This happened before the new patches came out and still in existence.

Anyone else run across this problem?

Yes... and Darnaku was right! double press jump!

it's always been double jump to fly, even with nightwing if im not mistaken. been ages since i used nightwing. im gna go check now cuz i doubt myself lol

EDIT - i stand corrected. nightwing is always in flight hence no need to double jump. every day is a school day

You are correct, I forgot that nitewing hovers sorta high but go over a cliff without hitting jump again and he falls like a brick...Im not sure wtf I was thinking, derpy moment I suppose!

no, all mounts do that. There is a "flight" status and a "landed" status. They all use stamina in flight status and only recover it on landed status, but some rides will take off immediately with the jump button, while other flyers will actually jump. It's not intuitive because your early mount is going to be the former, and a lot of later mounts are the latter.
