Small/Medium pal souls farming
is there any way to get them faster than looking for chest/the ground? i have 202 big souls from farming the Paladins but are really struggling to get a lot of the other 2 sizes.

Small souls can be farmed from Nox with a 40% drop chance. You can breed, catch and butcher, or just run through a dungeon for hours then find another when it despawns. Mediums drop from Helzephyr with an abysmal 3% drop rate so chest are best for those.
idk i go to the desert place and open 9999999chest for medium souls

Small souls drop from most of the night spawn Dark type pals, but without going online I couldn't tell you the drop rate I know Daedream, Tombat, Cawgnitto, Felbat, Nox, and Maraith can all drop them. Not sure about others.

Palpedia dot net. if you want to check soul drop. The twin big soul drop rate is 100% Unfortunately low/mid soul drop rate is vary from 1-40%.

Honestly use this map https://mapgenie.io/palworld/maps/palpagos-islands

clear everything apart from chests and start at the starting area, then move up to marsh islands and eastern wild islands for smalls. You'll net around 15-20 smalls this way

Mediums, just go around the desert, don't even need a map they're that prolific

Large can be got from the cold area or farming paladius/necro or anubis.
If you take a pal who buffs drop rates you get 3 instead of 2.

EDIT: I find breeding Nox to be slow and tbh I don't want to give up breeding space for them, once you have a route you'll be picking them up quick on refresh. Chests respawn after an hour or so
