can you keep the world if you close gportal server?

i have a gportal server with my husband. we are debating whether to pay for it again after the 3 months but does that mean i will loose everything i have on it? i remember we use to be able to bring the world we were playing with into the gportal server but can we play with it outside of the server?

I mean, I don't even know what gportal is, but isn't there a chance someone might play it and use steam forums? Like, why not ask? Worth a shot.

you could do it with other games just download the world file should show on there website

I mean, I don't even know what gportal is, but isn't there a chance someone might play it and use steam forums? Like, why not ask? Worth a shot.

For sure if you have a problem with your Ford truck you can ask in the BMW forum for help and maybe get an answer but I would prefer to ask my local Ford dealer if I would like a reliable answer and not only an assumption from someone who is not related to the product, whos answer might be valid or not. But this is up to you for sure 😊

You need to be a little more reasonable;

Reality here is that the Server host probably doesn't have active support;
Or enough people who use the community space enough to really help anyone.

Where as any number of people here, or on the discord are probably seconds away from a solution.

You car dealership analogy is also dumb, just saying lol.
Steam forums is more like an Enthusiast group, not another car dealership.

Wow thanks for wasting ur 5 mins to be absolutely not helpful and give bad analogies.
Considering I found out we can use a local file to open a gportal save in the forums I figured someone knew the answer here as well. And in the past the actual devs have responded to my posts when I have questions about their game sooo yeah.. This was metaphorically the dealership. Gportal is the drive way...
