VOLCANO IS UNEXPLORABLE?

i got the legendary metal heat resistance armor on, and die in the volcano island within 10 seconds... is this intentional, am i doin something wrong, im dyin faster than swimming in lava lol.

i take a gander that the legendary metal heat resistance armor is a downgrade from the pal metal heat resistance armor

i don't think anything is there (maybe yet) so yeah, not a place you should be.

Kinda like the giant tree you see off in the distance, you can't reach it.
PP need to work on the world and are just reactionary rn dealing with MP things.

i mispoke in the title i am using the pal metal heat R/A. not sure if this is a bug or like whats going on, you'd think id be able to roam around with legendary gear eh

few bosses are located in the volcano areas. been there for the last 2 weeks, its an update thing im pretty sure its bugged out for me

The ones i see are volcano adjacent, not in it proper. But you could be right tbh have you got screenshots?

the other thing i'm garnering is your mount is now heat suspectible after the update

You talking about the giant tree that Dev trying to stop you from going there.

Well you can go to the giant tree if you find a way around the red barrier. There nothing much to see there after you find your way around that red barrier. After some one point that out.

just youtube blazamut, jetraggen or astegon there alphas ive been farming them the past 2 weeks, lost all my stuff now sadly cuz i die going into that area now

Are you riding a fire pal perchance? Cuz they cause heat now to the player when you ride them. So it might just be way hotter than it used to be. If not, then nevermind lol.

You talking about the giant tree that Dev trying to stop you from going there.

Well you can go to the giant tree if you find a way around the red barrier. There nothing much to see there after you find your way around that red barrier. After some one point that out.

Its a dead area. I expect this with an EA game. Just others don't so its worth pointing out. I feel the volcano is such an area (right now)

My first playthrough (that after 230 hours I finally finished) was on hard mode and armor breaks every 1-2 hits so I never made anything past the tropical and tundra outfits and combining the tropical (you could also use the pal metal heat resistant since you already have it) with the heat resistant thermalwear you become immune to any level of heat (use the cold resistant thermalwear and the tundra/cold resistant armor for cold) and if you get the lvl 2 variants from the cold dungeons it doesn't matter the armor you'll be immune to the temperature everywhere (both my accessory slots have them)

did you wear also the heat resistance t-shirt under the armor? As dartharkonnis also mentions about them (cold / hot t-shirts)

Wear the Heat Resistant Shirt +1 or 2 in the accessory slot

This, you should be able to handle all temperature extremes with a +2 shirt and the opposing element's pal metal resistance armour.

Like @DirtyMick said, fire pals now cause heat when you ride them, causing you to overheat in hot areas. Not sure if this is intentional or a bug.

Everyone talking about armour and t-shirts really need to read the post better.
