Which duo is better at farming: Lyleen and Frostallion Noct vs. 2 Lyleen?

Looking for anyone with more insight than I have on which duo would work best. Lyleen's planting is awesome and Frostallion Noct has great gathering, but is it better to have one of each or double up on Lyleen's. Lyleen has Gardening and Gathering, while not as leveled as Frostallion Noct's I feel like if I had two Lyleen's things would move faster. Am I wrong in that assumption. I've had this question regarding other pals, but this question being answered would straighten everything out. Thoughts?

if you're using Lyleen then gathering efficiency is no longer a concern with how fast its going. Having 2 Lyleen double up on planting and gathering seems more efficient then splitting it with Frostallion Noct who just gathers.

edit: scratch that i was used to my 4 work passives lyleens lol. need to check how fast 2 lyleens gather

i timed it now
1 lyleen without any buffs plants lettuce in 1 minute 30 seconds
2 lyleen plant lettuce in 45 seconds

1 lyleen + 1 frostallion noct harvest lettuce in 1 minute 10 seconds
2 lyleen harvest lettuce in 2 minutes 30 seconds

1 lyleen + frostallion noct harvest + planting is 1:30 + 1:10 = 2 minute 40 seconds
2 lyleen harvest + planting is 0:45 + 2:30 = 3 minutes 15 seconds

Lyleen + Frostallion noct is faster by 35 seconds

Chikibi and Lunaris also have gathering as their skill so they might speed up the gathering part so enough of them might equal things out

did it without monitoring stand so my settings should be at relaxed

Thanks for the time and effort. It still catches me off guard that 1 level in a skill has that drastic of an impact. I guess the lvl. 4 skill holders are no joke after all. I do have Chikipi and Beegarde at the ranch that I occasionally catch helping with crops. If i was truly min/maxing I'd have to fix that. Again, thanks for the response and the effort. You answered the question perfectly.

My understanding is that higher Gathering skill also adds a bonus to crop yield, so it is valuable beyond just speedier gathering.

wow i didnt know that, my 4 star frostallion got 30 berries while the chikipi got 10 berries. +200% yield

Yea, leveling them up really matters. That's why people race to get Anubis. Crafting times drop dramatically with level 4 handiwork.
