That pretty much it.
They do have cut scenes :-D ... but yes, the lack of loot is a bit baffling.
Don´t tell me, you are also going to quote : "It´s not about the destination, it´s all about the journey." ?
Booooooooh!!! ... I WANT LOOT!!!!
Hmmm ... I already have enough Grizzbolts.
I like the idea of giving them the same loot pool as dungeons in the same region. Make them drop 4 chests worth of loot or something.
Isn´t that what we do in most games? ... go to someone´s place and either rob them blind or kill them and take their stuff. Baldur´s Gate 3 has a lot of that .... :-D
I do this when I'm tired and about to sleep. Take the newly hatched little ones there, throw out Anubis, and I don't even move my character until it's time to glide down for the next round. I can get a level 1 to at least 24 in about half an hour. And that's being slow, walking away and never using a single bullet.
That's a pretty great reward, as there is no respawn time. Which is probably why there are no physical rewards. To avoid both level farming and too many items.
Edit: by that I mean level farming AND having too many items. And they fixed the bug where you would lose out on skills if you leveled too fast.
Easily solved by having a loot chest spawn on top of the tower after you kill the boss.
