Carry Weight pals

so Cattiva gives 50, Lunaris gives 80, Broncherry and Kingpaca do 100, and Wumpo does 120. Condensing, on the other hand, only gives a flat +10 each tier. For all of them. Level 4 Cattiva is 90, level 4 Wumpo gives 160. I feel they really should increase the amount of weight bonus on condensation. level 4 should double the capacity bonus at least. 50 for Cattiva, 240 for Wumpo. There's no other way to help your weight capacity except stat points.

I just think the effect condensation has on these pals should be increased.

Agreed, going to mine a bit will easily have you at over 2k on weight. No pal traits are going to alleviate this and I doubt anyone is putting that many points in weight. I raised it to 1k and am stopping there. Stamina is at 300, rest is going into HP.

Oh I had put enough in carry weight to put me up to 2100. Problem was that I respecced to put only 1000 so i could get more Attack and HP. Looking into the pals that boosted carry weight was in response to how much harder it was with only 1000 weight.

if you gonna sacrifice a party slot for weight, then you don't need attack anyway.

I think they give enough. It's nice there even is Pals that give it. An extra 640 weight from pals is pretty high.

For me stamina and weight are the only things to stat into. Hp/defense are useless since dodge mitigates all damage for 95% of attacks. Shield covers any damage I do take. Pals can do most the damage while I spam shotgun/rifle if i need too. Those weapons do a lot already. Mountable pals can use their attacks twice before waiting for cooldowns. Also, farm bases don't work on my server. They destroy nodes but don't collect unless someone is in render distance. I can clear most dense node farm spots then deposit after each spot. 220 stamina with the rest into weight. I used to use a team of Jetragon and 4X 4*Wumpos with mining foreman but since I learned about Astegon/Lightning Strike I just go Jetragon, Astegon and 3 Wumpos

yeah the weight increase from fully condensed pals is kinda meh, unless you stack a full team of those but why would you want that. 500 weight is the bare minimum to not constantly go back to base, 1000 weight feels reasonable on having to sortie the inventory every now and then and at 1250-1500 weight you stop worrying about it unless you're stocking up on thousands of iron ores but at that point you'd be using the grappling gun

if you're going through the trouble of fully condensing a weight carry pal then they should feel rewarding

I do think too that Pals that increase carry weight should offer more carry weight bonus.
Not everyone is going to do a full carry weight build just to be able to carry a lot of ores back to base without having to return many times (even more if one is doing dungeons to get the ores).

Beside, I do think that Pals like Broncherry could help alleviate the effects of being overburden when mounted.

Psst, hey buddy. Did you know they stack? If you are really just going on a mining run, grab yourself 4 carryweight Pals, and your ride. Or if the mine is near a FT point, grab all 5. I used to do tis to get the Sulfur near the Volcano tower. 5 Wompos, not even upgraded, was enough for a full run. Or keep a pox near the FT point to make dump runs, then grab it all and travel out when you are done. Although, this last tip only really works if decay is disabled.

Regardless of the other options for increasing carry weight....

It feels SUPER unfair and ridiculous that by grinding down HUGE creatures like Broncherry who had a substantial amount of weight, that by empowering a single one with the power of 10+ others only increases its mighty weight strength by a mere fraction of its true power, and in fact is equal to the increase of a tiny little cat....

Makes no sense in universe.
