my only complaint about games copying each other is when they're being lazy about it. if a good game comes out of it then thats still a bonus for the players. (unless they're stealing assets, i hate that)

I'd love to see more games like this (or basically Ark, since that is where they took their main concept from). PocketPair got the gameloop right but they aren't really known for great depth in their games. I'm excited for someone to take the concept and make something even better.

Oh yeah it doesnt have anywhere near the same power as that and kinda loses its punch after the first time marketing-wise imo. My prediction is that we're gonna see a lot of them try and fail to capitalize on the success because by the time the games come out, the only people who would care will be people already playing/who have played Palworld (and maybe one, MAYBE two other alternatives that pop up).

Yeah this.

Something get popular then everyone start copying it, I just find it pretty funny, like when Vampire Survivors became popular BAM you got some H games (mystic survivors ?) in the same way, brotato, etc etc etc, then Among us became popular and BAM clones.

Mon World is just a mix of Pokemon and Palworld so even the name is lazy, at least they didn't went with something like Palstreet, palregion, PalUniverse or something...... not yet.

Is this that scam that involved Steam removing 800 games? I know one of them was a fake version of Palworld but I didn't know what the game in question was called.
