Attribute point distribution
I was just curious how people were distributing their stat points if anyone cares to share. I put the majority into my hitpoints and add about enough into weight to get me to about 900lbs, and that's with me currently at level 33. I've put nothing into crafting or attack.

Is anyone adding to attack damage in the stats? It's only 2% per point, but it adds up, so maybe it's worth putting some in?

Edit: forgot that I put 4 points in stamina

I went with 2000 base HP, 200 base stamina, and since then I have been increasing carry weight.
just put all into weight imo, just reset it when you think you need those offensive/defensive stats but early game is all grind

Cant rem all nums but starting out put little into work speed, got carry up to 750, since then alternate between hp, atk, and stamina.

Heath and Carry Weight mostly. I did work speed early on to help get going quicker, but once I can re-spec I'll leave it as is since my Pals can now do everything on their own quick enough.

I haven't upgraded my attack stat at all, I find even at base level the guns do good damage and the majority of it will still be coming from the pals.

I went base 1000 carry, rest into hp. If I get to max level I would probably respec all into attack and try one of the strange team attack buff builds.

before you start going for end game I recommend doing 2 points carry weight to every point of stamina with stamina capping off at 200. Then bring hp to 1000 at the same rate stamina was, then the rest into carry weight. Once you start grinding end game stuff respec all your points into attack leaving the last 9 for hp and carry weight so you can carry some extra stuff, hp 1000 and carry 500 to be specific.
The reason I don't invest much into hp is because ideally you dodge everything and get those shields to absorb the hits for you, since they always absorb at least one hit and can recharge in battle.
after i used the medicine i put 1500 in carry weight and i stopped cursing my heavy inventory, everything else into hp and stamina ofc

depends on the map/server settings
if stamina settings are default, then stam to 200-250 then half the point remaining in HP and weight. if the settings are lower then maybe 150 stam then the rest in HP/Weight again... except the point that would have been into stam are now put into attack.

I play with a stamina setting very low, so I leave it at 100 and focus mainly on HP and Attack while playing singleplayer. A little in weight so I get 1000 or so, for comfort. to make sure I don't get fat from picking up bread or some coal. lol.

While most will think and say Attack is a useless stats, let me tell you... they're not completely wrong. If you cannot focus on it, then don't bother. the attack stats is a % modifier for your damage, which is applied AFTER the defense and level calculation. A level 1 chicken will receive far more damage than a level 10 cattiva even if their defense are very close. A difference of about three time more damage.
You get 2% damage per point put in Attack.
max level is 50, you gain 1 stats per level.
so make your choice...
10 stam, 100 hp, 50 weight, or 2% attack. if you can get 25 points in attack, you're golden. you'll so 150% total damage. your 320 dmg pistol will feel like a nuke. your nuke will feel like a planet destroyer.
There's a weird synergy with accessories... try it out sometime.

It depends how you play. Heavy on exploration, stamina is the priority. Base building priority, weight. Capturing pals, health. Attack is least useful, as pals do most of the damage, and I like to keep myself weak to make it easier to capture and not kill.

On rare occasions, craft speed matters, if you're playing a challenge type style. Just a little boost makes a big difference (3 or 4 points)

1,6k carry weight - 1,5k hp - 220stamina
Generic-Raider Feb 12, 2024 @ 9:46pm
1000 in wight
2000 in hp - about 15 points?
all else in stamina

my whole team of 2000+ atk and 1400+ def gets anihilated against jetragon and only deal 15-50 dmg per hit with a 150 power move.
I do 8k to 15k with a well placed rocket launcher and 400-1000 with a shotgun to the face.
both are legendary quality.

I get decimated easily. even with my... meager 430+ def Palmetal armor with Def accessory (one, the other is a thermal shirt).
When I use another team which boost MY attack and gives me bonus elemental damage, I can deal around 50k to 100k per hit instead : My attack stats is around 500 when fully boosted with a specific team of pals, like the sweepa combo all with atk increasing passives.

So yeah, you chose how you want to build your character, like I said most people see little to no value in the attack stats, I'm part of a minority here lol.
Just don't depend on your pal's attack to defeat Jetragon on their own. my Lyleen Noct with 2300+ atk (Lgend, lucky, muscle, ferocious, food) can barely dent it. even with a supereffective attack at 150 power. it takes so long to drop its hp it's insane. I often die because I'm the one being burned or knocked around from the fire tornadoes. jetragon sometime has.

taking on a legendary pal without a legendary pal of your own is indeed insane. i ended up winning by spamming rockets and constantly knocking down jetragon
