번역 관련 문제 보고
ive tried orzerk with level 1 in drop and it can make goblins drop 2 pal fluid sometimes. however the manta ray enemy drops up to 2 pal fluids even without orzerk, so maybe level 5 only works well with high base drops?
thats why it would help if we´d know if its range based. Cause if so then maybe the Pals just have been to far away from their prey. If not and it procs no matter what range via kills then it might be a bug.
My guess is it is a percentage based calculation that does very little due to the small number of drops you receive.
Even if its + 50% at level 5 it will only give you + 1 drop because you only receive a single drop per kill, and to do anything meaningful, the game probably "Rounds up" anything that is higher than 100% of its drop rate.
Its mechanics like this why game developers stat pad out numerical based drops so that passives like this actually do anything meaningful to the player.
We don't know if it's a cumulative bonus meaning if item XYZ has a 20% chance to drop normally, does the 80% give a guaranteed 100% or is it 80% bonus to the current droprate so it's 36% now.
Okay, I'll give you an example. Numbers will be abstracted for the sake of explanation.
Base drop rate is 100%
Each level of Grimoire will give + 20% extra drop rate.
Level 1 100+ 20% = 120% , base drop rate of 1 + 120% = 1.2 drop rate. Since you can't get 1.2 items, the game generously "Rounds up" to 2 items rather than rounding down because this would nullify the passive completely until you reach level 5.
Same with each level.
level 2 = +40% 100 = 140% which = 1.4 drop rate. rounded up to 2.
level 3. 60%, 160% = 1.6 drop rate. rounded up to 2.
level 4. 80%. 1.8 drop rate. rounded up to 2.
level 5 100% drop rate. 2 times drop rate. which would give you a grand total of 2. Ta-da.
If the game dealt with higher quantity of items, then the small %age increases would yield noticeable differences every level.
Like 10 units instead of 1, you would see 12 for level 1. 14 for level 2, 16 for level 3, 18 for level 4, and 20 for level 5.
Yep, if they adjust the game's multiplier to the skill, you could comfortably get a + 3 total items from level 5, which would not be too much, nor too little.
Currently, grinding out 5 levels to get no benefit over level 2 seems very silly and overlooked considering the amount of work needed to grind that much.
