backing up data question
I am about 20 or so hours into my current game and I have lost data one time before so I keep having nervousness about it happening again. I uploaded my save data called DEC8B0E3433F22436B23BA951DE258E5 to megaupload. If I get this bug again and lose my save, can I just go to the AppData -> Local -> Pal -> Saved -> SaveGames folder and overwrite the folder of the same name with what is in my megaupload?

Overwriting it should do the trick. Do disable cloud restoration during that process though as otherwise the steamcloud will overwrite your backup with the faulty file again.

What do you mean you didnt understand? (this isnt an attack). You copy the file "LocalData.sav" thats located in the backup folder into the Main Folder of your corresponding world (has like a giga long name. The Backup folder is also located in there and below that backup folder is also the file LocalData.sav again which you overwrite with the one located in the backup folder).

But sure, if that is sounding too complicated to you then you should be able to just overwrite the whole World folder by itself (you should probably test that though on some throwaway world you dont care about first)

My ability to not understand very obvious things is shocking. Sorry. I'll try this if it happens again though.
