pals keep teleporting back to the pal box?

i think it was an attempt to fix pals getting stuck but i have my base layered for more space and anytime pals are working on a rooftop they teleport back to the palbox and have to run back to whatever they were doing?

yeah i noticed that too, but in my base its all open space with a wall lining up the base perimeter and the pals teleporting back are my planters, the one pals in my base that usually shouldnt get stuck while the kindling/mining pals that often get stuck never do this.

its an attempt but its not working so its a bug

They have a range, also make sure you don't have storage in all floors for me its 3 walls anything over they get stuck or lose interest.

Now I'm getting this issue at my latest base. I'm thinking I should probably give up on it since I made it at the top of the sky. I'm guessing maybe because the entire thing is based on roof tiles with the foundations placed miles below.
I only wanted a few pals there for electricity purposes, but they can't even do their jobs because they're endlessly teleporting back to the palbox.

Oh well, I guess it can function without electricity... but I really wanted to put powered lights down so the whole thing could function as a lighthouse.

I know sometimes where you place your pal box is critical. In the one spot behind the alpha Chillet area, if you put your palbox on the same level as the ore, you'll probably have no issues. However, if you put it up on that nest lvl up... It will be ok at first, but after a while, you're going to have a bad time. Pals are going to reset themselves once in a while no matter what you do. If your palbox is in a place that they can't get to the work and food from, or there are too many opportunities to get stuck, then they are all just going to constantly reset to the box and starve to death.

Well whatever. I've turned my minimalist sky-base into a Bellanoir Arena.
I had a weird scenario where she fell off the platform and I was trying to fight her in freefall for a minute or so before she teleported back up to the platform and I had to use my Homeward Thundercloud to return and continue the fight.
