you can see it from ground it like hill in Lion King movie ...i ones want to build base their to get away from raid but that place to small for a base but if you know to play Minecraft that place is no problem

It's annoying how you can't just build foundations in the air and make a mountaintop wide enough.

Hmmm.....the highest useful location for a base I know of is at 191,-38. It's on the top of a mountain with coal and ore nodes.

It's not the tallest mountain but it's tall enough that it never gets raided because it's only accessible via flight.

Josh (Let'sgameitout) made a video on how he made the heighest base, so there's technically only the limit of the sky if you're just looking to well, make a weird base somewhere

The device itself can be built on all of the three mountain peaks as well as the above mentioned jagged "Lion King -like" protrusions. However, whether or not anything else will fit with up there with it is entirely dependent on your skill as a builder.
