Guys, check out this Frostallion
After catching an alpha with decent potential, i got this godlike roll after breeding only 10 perfect frostallions and she was the best of the batch (raw stats without food buffs or support pals):

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3158908730

Her IV (individual value growth stats) according to calculator: Attack 30%(max) / HP 26%/ Defense 16%

Now imagine this guy with a team of 4 star Foxcicles

That's one lucky roll, meanwhile I still try to perfect my shadowbeak and have 100s of them breed already

I got a frostalion noct with legend, runner swift, and ice emperor. Best mount I could hope for.

First one I hatched too.

Slightly lower attack, lot better defense.

Technically speaking, putting Hooligan instead of Ice Emperor would result in way higher attack across all elements rather than just 1 (if you plan to use moves other than ice).

Still not clear on whether this game has something like STAB (bonus to using same element as pal). Based on other threads, the elemental passive doesn't really have any advantage, just a boost to one element instead of all.

Yeah, I'm also unlucky with shadowbeak, the best I got is 18% IV for attack and trash defense and hp(7 or 9). I could probably rebreed a new one from better parents but I'm kinda lazy to do that, so after the last 50 cakes I'll probably just choose the best from the worst

I actually found one with just Legend/Ice Emperor/Ferocious naturally. I kept it. I figured if there was a passive that said, "add 5000 HP" instead of "add 30% attack/-50% work speed". you might seriously build it with that hp passive anyway, so finding the alpha version with 3 passives is just as good. I really didn't want to lose the HP with mine. I would definitely take Musclehead over Ferocious, but I'm happy with the one I found in 6 catches.

The HP thing made me hesitant on Jetragon. Mine had 3 good passives, including Musclehead so his attack was very good and the hp pool huge. The problem I had was he was too big to fit in the mine caves (boss ones). I gave up and bred a proper one. The size issue was too big of a problem for me.

Yeah, that's a good point about the size. I got some good rolls on my alpha legendary pals so I didn't mess with any of them yet. I found a Jetragon with Swift naturally too after a few catches. I think I might just farm them more to see what I get before fully committing to one of them. Because they are all level 50, it's easy to see which is better without having to do iv calcs. I actually want to farm them anyway to get the legendary schematics, so I might as well kill two birds with one stone. Besides, having more options for breeding also works too.

yeah HP is a huge argument when it comes to breeding the legendaries

Thanks for suggestion but I'm not really planning on using double element pals or switching skills, because I already built a team for every element, so I would rather stick with emperor than hooligan or lucky
As far as I know Stab system was already confirmed by many players, you can find info on YouTube and reddit. Personally I would suggest testing it on Ragnahawk since he has both fire and sand tornadoes, you could probably choose enemies with neutral affinity, like both paladins for example(dark and neutral)
