Paladius and Necromus

Are these two Alpha bosses always together? What pals would you use to defeat them?

Yes, they are always together. However, there's a glitch where if you hit a Pal with a rocket while it's frozen, it gets sent high into the sky and then either dies of fall damage or (more rarely) is taken out of the fight for good (with its HP bar still showing; on the other hand, it does reset when you die and respawn to another place). I used that to kill Necromus early and focus on getting another Paladius (since I already acquired 10+ Necromuses).

I fought them yesterday, and used a Frostallion and a LOT of ammo (also several other pals like a rank 5 flamethrower Foxparks). Basically it's a very long battle unless you're max-level. Also as someone said, try to engage them just as night comes, because then Paladius will be asleep.

You mean 20, you can raise that limit.

As mentioned before go at night and defeat Necromus first.
Go with an empty slot in your party on your first run.
Jetragon is the best pal to pick since Dragon > Dark
Capture Necromus and use it to fight Paladius since Dark > Normal

Astegon is ok too.

I'd also suggest finding a nearby forest of trees and hiding in there. it's weird but in that desert there's a bunch of them around and the only skill you'd need to dodge is their iceberg.

I actually think getting Frostallion is the easiest of the 4 to get. Despite not having a weakness to exploit, it does okay against these 2 just because of the insane health pool, and probably because it's better than all the jank combat pals you've been using up until that point unless you've been very active breeding. I just used Farelis to beat Frostallion - it's probably the easiest type matchup to win.

And with Frostallion, you can nab Jetragon pretty easily. So having both of these to help you makes the fight a lot easier. This is what I did when I had nothing else better to use at the time. You probably didn't seriously breed a shadowbeak too because you sort of need Necromus to do it optimally, so it's a catch-22. Better to just use the 2 legendaries to help you. Once you have all 4, you are free to start breeding for 50+ hours to make the ultimate monsters lol.

i kill this alpha alot, still no drop schematic, without damage, use some trick with building,trap with fire food, and runing circle on top building ez

I noticed if you kill Paladius you get credited for the kill.
