There are countless similarities between Pokemon and Palworld.
There are countless similarities! Pokemon: you throw a ball to catch Pokemon, Palworld: you throw a ball to catch Pals. Pokemon: you feed your Pokemon, Palworld: you feed your Pals. Pokemon: you train Pokemon, Palworld: you train Pals. Pokemon: you command Pokemon battle each other, Palworld: you command Pals to battle each other. I could go gon but you get my point!

lol you should probably look up the game dragon quest because pokemon stole there designs. also there was like 5 or more games where you catch, train and battle monsters that was out before pokemon like robotrek, dragon quest, Shin Megami Tensei and monster rancher. and even after pokemon came out there are digimon, coromon and more. they didnt invent this type of game they just did it better than the guys they copied so why dont you cry to Nintendo about making billions off of ideas that others made into video games before they did? if palworld cant do it then why can pokemon?

their are countless similarity's

well you see capturing to fight along side you has been done in games before pokemon came out

their are countless similarity's....

the designs look same... imagine stuff based on real life plants/animals/ myths in a game looking like others based off same thing weird...

their are also countless differences
Did you hear the one about some LA cops who ignored an armed robbery call because they were busy playing Pokemon Go? No joke. But maybe in that case it can reduce police brutality, they can all be on their phones playing it distracted and won't be such ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Completely wrong. Look no further than the achievements to prove yourself wrong.

86.8% of players caught their first pal. That's our baseline, everybody from the 13.2% are people who we can assume didn't even play the game, or played for like 5 minutes.

Now 75.3% of players caught 10 kinds of pals. This requires a little bit of investment. 69% got 20 pals, that's even bigger investment. 63.6% beat the first tower boss, which is actually pretty hard for players who don't know wtf they're doing.
49.7% of players caught 50 kinds of pals, that's almost half of the paldeck (or about 35% if you include elemental variations). I did it after about 10-20 hours of gameplay. That's more than enough time to realize that this isn't a pokemon game, people wouldn't even get to this point if what you said was correct.

Now let's look at something like Dark Souls, where it's reputation precedes it. 72.3% of people lit the first bonfire. That's something you do in the first 5 minutes...
67.3% got the estus flask, again something you do in the first 10 minutes, 63.3% got to lordran, meaning they beat the first boss, in the first 30 minutes of the game. About 42.6% rang the first bell in the church, which is also about 10-20 hours of gameplay.

There's no big discrepancy here, and yet people didn't think that Dark Souls was a pokemon game...

The drop in players is nothing special, it's been almost a month now, people played their fill and moved on. Happens to literally every game. Happened to Valheim, Amogus, Elden Ring, etc.

This is so wrong that it doesn't even warrant a response. How desperate can you get
It is 100% correct and logically sound for it's purpose: to disprove your claim that people are leaving the game because "they think it's a pokemon game and when they figure out it's not, they leave".

I mean that claim in and of itself is so incredibly stupid that I actually had a good laugh writing that retort xD

"there are many similarities with cars. they all have wheesl, and a steering wheel, and lights, and suspension, and an engine" i could go on about it. but whats the point OP? ppl train dogs and cats and horses, heck, they even train octopus and monkeys. so does that mean they are also pokemon/pals? or even digimon????

Yes and in ARK too. You can put the dinosaurs in cryocapsules, feed the dinosaurs, train the dinosaurs (leveling), give the dinosaurs orders and they have different strengths. This probably works in other games too.

Like in discussion forums: Everyone there thinks... Wait a minute... Apparently not everyone does. ;-)

That is because people see the characters and they automatically think that it is a new Pokemon game with new gameplay. They don't realize that this game wasn't made by Pokemon until they have already purchased the game. That is why so many players are dropping out of playing Palworld. That is why the game lost over 1.3 million players in 2 weeks, which is the biggest ever 2 week drop in players
I'm sorry but no person mentally capable of playing a video game, or with a device capable of playing it, thought that this was a Pokémon game. It was the most clearly expressed point on the internet for a while that this was NOT MADE BY POKEMON

if your point is "I never bothered to play palworld" then yeah, we get it.
There are too many similarities between these 2 games for it just to be a coincidence!
