Sounds like a you problem then?
I've been using mods since the 90's and have never had a problem, and if you wanna play with these hardcore rules so badly you can ether keep playing in your discord group with people playing the same rules as you or learn how to mod and apply this setting to your server.
As it stands now you are literally just whining like a child because no one is there to force you and the people around you to play by this self imposed challenge.
And when people offer solutions, like a child you cross you're arms and yell no.
So really as I said, this is a you problem.
My dude, you can literally do this at any time.
Nothing is stopping you?
Like nuzlocke rules was emergent gameplay that came out of a stupid web comic.
All you're doing is whinnying about it instead of doing something about it.
Like there are over 200 palworld mods now and a detailed guide on how to mod palworld.
The modding tools are free too!
If it means that much to you get off your lazy butt, learn to mod, and make your own server pak file to apply your ideal rules to force everyone to follow.
You won't because you're too busy complaining but it's all right there for you.

All you now have to do is set DropItemAliveMaxHour to 0 and dropped items will delete instantly.
All it took was a tiny bit of searching on how to edit server files to make custom settings.

Now suck it up and learn how to actually use sever settings instead of just complaining, and you're welcome btw.
Tale of the tape........
Dexaldem = smart
LiquidFire = dumb dumb
Since when has hardcore meant anything other than perma death?
i am all for it
let people play how they like
It already exists, set DropItemAliveMaxHour to 0 and drop settings to All and bam you now have "Hardcore" mode.
Hardcore can include but is not limited to a single life.
One is a general classification the other is a specific rule, big definable difference.
and as have 2 people stated already you can already do this you just unhappy with the options you were given nothing forces you to retrieve your dead drop and you can easily get rid of the pals

You personal definition dose not mater.
