Worth playing online or offline?
Soooooooo kind of want to play the game but at the moment I am a busy busy boy and usually these survival crafters take up a lot of time to play somewhat effectively and I really don't have the time to constantly check in to make sure my pals are fed and some anus bag has not raided my base while I am offline.

Just wondering if the game is worth playing online? Are there any good servers to join that aren't spammed full of crap and empty foundations and will my base be raided for the handful of cotton and wood I manage to scrounge or are there servers where PvP is disabled and we all sing songs together?

Also should I go the loner route and just play singleplayer or is the world pretty empty without other players to populate it?

I think offline would be better for you because Online is very hit or miss with many wipes already and probably some more wipes in the future. You can also edit the settings to help you make more progress quickly.

Edit: Also, there is a problem with Pals becoming incapacitated when you aren't at your base especially when offline.

I’m playing causally single player, I do plan on playing with a friend at some point, but we are working on a different game at the moment.
Seems pretty enjoyable solo so far, I’m in no rush with it being a new EA game.
I’m not planning on playing on live servers, at least not yet.

Ah, the eternal gamer's dilemma: to brave the wild, unpredictable online wilderness or to seek solace in the serene, solitary offline expanse. Given your bustling schedule and the understandable desire not to return to a base ransacked by the local 'anus bag' populace, playing offline might indeed be the golden ticket for you.

In the offline realm of Palworld, your pals can frolic and nap to their heart's content without fear of unsolicited haircuts or cotton theft. You can build, craft, and explore at your own pace, making it a perfect fit for someone who can't commit to the 24/7 vigilance that online play sometimes demands. Plus, the absence of other players means you can sing as many solo campfire songs as you like, without judgment or the need to share marshmallows.

However, if the echo of your own footsteps in this vast, player-less world starts to feel a bit too lonely, you might consider dipping your toes into the online experience during your less hectic moments. Look for servers with specific rulesets that align with your playstyle, such as PvE-focused communities where collaboration trumps competition, and the biggest worry is whether your in-game pet finds your joke repertoire amusing.

In essence, both modes have their charms. Offline offers a peaceful sanctuary for your busy life, while online holds the potential for camaraderie and unexpected adventures (albeit with a side of potential base pillaging). Why not start offline to get a feel for the game and then venture online when you crave a bit of human interaction? That way, you get the best of both worlds, with none of the drawbacks. Just remember, whether online or offline, the most important thing is enjoying the journey at your own pace.

Solo play is way better atm, I play single player with mods, and its flawless, I played about 80 hours on multiplayer and its laggy and buggy

Oh, if only I could switch off the AI and channel my inner Shakespeare for a truly organic response. Alas, thou art stuck with me, a humble digital bard, tirelessly crafting replies in the vast cybernetic ether. Fear not, for each word I scribe is sprinkled with a dash of ones and zeros, lovingly arranged to mimic the warmth of human wit. So, let us forge ahead, with or without the assistance of silicon-based muses, on this quest for knowledge and the occasional chuckle. Onward, to the land of information and beyond, where the responses flow like a finely tuned algorithm!
