Not your stamina, no. If you are on single player or own a dedicated server, you can lower Pal stamina reduction rate in the server settings so you can fly/sprint/glide farther while riding Pals. I have mine set to .8 on single player and I feel it is a good sweet spot for travel times without being too OP.

the guys above are wrong, your player stamina is what you use when riding a pal, the pal stamina settings do not affect mounted stamina

This isn't entirely correct either. The 'Pal Stamina Reduction' setting is bugged and doesn't do anything. Pal stamina usage is modified by the 'Player Stamina Reduction' setting, but that doesn't mean your mounts use your stamina. Increasing your stamina with levels doesn't let your mounts fly/sprint longer, for instance.

u stupid? the stamina only matters for dodge/gliding/running and melee/harvesting ressources

Not exactly true :)

Flying and rideble Pals do have their own Stamina which effects their flight-, sprint-stamina. Direhole (the wulf) is balanced around this (else he would be totaly OP).

Glider pals how ever take your chars Stamina which effects the total glide-time.

My character with 300 stamina can "sprint fly" for exactly double the amount of time my friends character who has 150 stamina can.

So I would say you are the one incorrect gere

If you could show this in effect that'd be great, because everyone who claims to have tested this (myself included) has found that it does not.

wrong wrong wrong, i have 300 stamina and it absolutely increases how much stamina you have while mounted, pal stamina is for their attacks while you are not riding them

Show me then. Mount a basic Direhowl and time how long it takes for your stamina to run out while sprinting. Then reset your player stats and test it again. Because I've done this, and there was no difference.

It doesn't impact pals at all. It helps with your character only. I'd add some stamina for the early game but by the time you're mid to late game you don't need much at all because the pals do everything
id recommend atleast 200 stam at least. by end game

flying mount stamina consumption drops when you upgrade the flying mounts skill.

and why do you include me? player stamina doesn`t influence pal stamina and you only use stamina for the told actions and climbing i forgot that
Tazz Feb 11, 2024 @ 2:44am
i make my stamina high because i want fly high and longer all flying mount drain stamina faster and they fly so slow:steamsad:
Cotaks Feb 11, 2024 @ 2:53am
- Palls do have their own stamina bar.
- only the kite type pals like Galeclaw uses player stamina, it's drained to hold grip.
- your stamina is just used to run, dodge, jump, climb and glide (with kite or pal)

I did some testing in the game settings. Reducing the stamina reduction rate for pals did not change the flight/sprint time of pals. Reducing player stamina rate did however. So yes, players stamina determines pals flight/sprint distance. This took 5min to test and all these commenters have no idea what they are talking about.

If you don't believe me, change those 2 settings and tell me what one actually effects pals riding stamina. Spoiler, it's player stamina.
