are you mistaking head shot as type advantage dmg? cuz azurobe is add water damage and shadowbeak is dark?
Okay, but it worked on Marcus and Faleris. On the other hand, does it only add one of the types to the shots?
I beat him yesterday using a team of dragons with dragon moves-gives a "very effective" message every time a type advantage moves is used
Did you need to be mounted on any of them? Which weapons did you use? Did you need any weapons that are stronger than their Common tiers? How many of your Dragon-type Pals were Jetragon?
I did for relaxasaurs lux with the cannon, but the damage wasn't worth it...I went in with a 2 rank condensed jourmentide (sp) that was more tanky than I thought with musclehead trait
All dragons I used were bread for traits, condensed to rank 2, given souls to statue for increased stats, and my entire team (myself included) ate omelettes for attack buff
I had a legendary shotgun which did most of the damage though, increasing the pals stats made them able to tank 1-2 of victors nasty hits
I just need to do that and level/power it up a bunch (and probably get a Legendary Assault Rifle, too), and I'll be all set to fight Victor.
I'm pretty sure that purple, maybe even blue, is good enough as long as it's the only weapon you use.
