Add an option to toggle work rather than holding

I'd like an option to have the "F" key work as a toggle rather than a hold. Save our keyboards!

+1, but um, I found something in my place can hold down the F key, plus some keyboards have macro, or maybe even just free software online can find to program a macro, either way...there are ways to get around this while waiting on an update.

If you're holding F key to build things for longer than 10 seconds, you're doing it wrong. Yes, you can build quick things on your own for whatever reason you want, but what you should be doing is putting handiwork pals in your base that will hold F for you. Outside of the very very early game, you shouldn't be building anything yourself. Let your pals work for you. It's what they are for.

I just stare at the key angrily until it presses itself down. But a toggle would be easier.

Why are you holding down the F key to craft?

Just get your Pal's to craft for you its easier...

Shift+tab while holding F. Activating the steam overlay while the input's active will lock it in until you do something that disrupts it (tabbing out, opening map/inventory, etc).

You can do the same thing to autorun.

Ok, this seem odd or i'm missing something. When I select something to craft I only have to hit F key once and my player with work until the order is complete. All factory settings and no mods.

There is in option in the settings, where you can switch between holding and toggle. M Armyeater are right, that Pocketpair added it 2 or 3 updates earlier

They haven't, it's still there. Also, you could've opened a new thread, it's not like you have to pay to open one and posting on topics too old are against the guidelines anyway.
