Player stamina does not affect mounts, no.

Nope, Pals have their own Stamina, and some have more than others.

You know what, I am not sure it does now I think about it as I initially thought it did.
I don't feel like the nitewing is going any further than it did when I had no points in stamina.
Although it could be a barely noticeable effect if those mounts have high stamina to begin with.
Like when you feed the Pal and it takes 3 times the berries to feed than it does to feed you.

Pals also have different "Food" levels. Usually the bigger they are the more they eat.

yep, I could have worded that better to be honest.
basically saying the stamina could be high enough that any buff from increasing it on our character would not even make a dent on how the Pal's is calculated.

Ah, ya. That could be the case, as Humans we are very outclassed by even basic pals, they do more damage, have more health, and are often faster at mining, and working. So even if our stamina did effect them, which I am pretty sure it does not, it might not amount to much compared to what they would already have.

No. If you're riding a Pal and you make that Pal sprint, you're using that Pal's stamina.

Look for Runner and Swift traits to make sprints go farther.

I would've said yes more stamina means you can fly longer, but everyone is saying no. Must've been placebo effect for me.

Nitewing is also the slowest flier, so that doesn't help.

Ultimately the higher rarity the mount the better their speed, with some exceptions. Increasing the star also raises their speed, as well as the pal skills for speed, but you want to invest that into higher rarity pals. Nitewing with 2 stars is not much faster than a 0 star, and even a 0 star vanwyrm is significantly faster than a 2 star nitewing.

For your stats the ratio I found was 10 hp 40 weight (yes even if you have a full party of cats) The attack/stamina/workspeed can be for challenge runs where you can't use Pals ect.

If I were you I would get Jetragon breed with swift you will rule the game. Nothing even comes close.
GrandTickler Feb 9, 2024 @ 7:21pm
nah, i got 200 stamina and jetragon still runs out of stamina in a few seconds while sprinting
Scraps Feb 9, 2024 @ 7:29pm
At least stamina is already a pretty great stat to invest in, especially if you prefer to be more self-sufficient.

yeah i love going gliding after my mount's stamina runs out mid air. and 200 also lets u mine a full quartz node by yourself in 1 go

Yep, I tend to stop leveling past 200 in the early game. mining up even ores in 1 go is really nice; you need a lot of ingot to get your base rolling in the mid-game.
