I don't feel like the nitewing is going any further than it did when I had no points in stamina.
Although it could be a barely noticeable effect if those mounts have high stamina to begin with.
Like when you feed the Pal and it takes 3 times the berries to feed than it does to feed you.
Pals also have different "Food" levels. Usually the bigger they are the more they eat.
basically saying the stamina could be high enough that any buff from increasing it on our character would not even make a dent on how the Pal's is calculated.
Ah, ya. That could be the case, as Humans we are very outclassed by even basic pals, they do more damage, have more health, and are often faster at mining, and working. So even if our stamina did effect them, which I am pretty sure it does not, it might not amount to much compared to what they would already have.
Look for Runner and Swift traits to make sprints go farther.
Ultimately the higher rarity the mount the better their speed, with some exceptions. Increasing the star also raises their speed, as well as the pal skills for speed, but you want to invest that into higher rarity pals. Nitewing with 2 stars is not much faster than a 0 star, and even a 0 star vanwyrm is significantly faster than a 2 star nitewing.
If I were you I would get Jetragon breed with swift you will rule the game. Nothing even comes close.
