Chest looting, weird happenings.

In my first game I went up north and constantly got the rare blueprint for the shotgun, it was almost the only thing that I could get with the gold keys, never saw an uncommon blueprint for the shotgun, it was always rare. I had like 30 of those.

On my second run I decided once again to do a bit of chest looting up north, this time around I am only getting uncommon shotgun blueprints, still the same, ALL blueprints I am getting are uncommon, not a single rare one and up to about 20 uncommon shotgun blueprints.

The only changes I have made was that I this time around didn´t want to farm fluids and set the drop rate to x3 while I increased the chest spawn rate time by 2. I am also lvl 49 this time while I didn´t actually farm a lot of chests post 48 in the other game, so it´s not a level thing.

So, maybe chest loot is tied to difficulty settings, don´t know if anyone can confirm this. I just know it can´t be random, something triggered the rare drops in the first game and the uncommon in the second.
