Kicked from game after reinstall

Continually getting kicked from game after reinstalling in the character creation screen. Weird error talking about: Couldn't start: (file path) win64-shipping.exe pal create process returned 2

No antivirus here! Cant even copy paste the error, wasn't able to highlight. It seems to have gone away though after erasing palworld from my steam folder and all palworld related ftuff from my users folder

Thanks for your help. I even tried loading the game with Comodo antivirus active and it works. Whatever it was, reinstalling with care to delete the "steam" pal files and "user" folder files. However now my mouse doesn't work in game lol

you just didnt have one file...
and ppl had this issue already because of Avast or AVG
you had it because broken installation... thats it

it was first link on google... next time, try it :)

This isn't the fix you think it is. the problem occurs repeatedly. I have to reverify install files everytime and then it works until I log out. Then have to reverify files with the fix for it to work again. Firewall is completely fine and no Antivirus loaded. Just like the "fix" for loading saved games after a crash they detail in their FAQ- doesn't work.

you should fin what it is...
and btw: ye, you confirmed now that it is exactly that fix what i point at - to fix your missing file

I figured it out. You helped too even though the fixes on google did not do it for me. Here's what it was. Even though I had closed my Comodo antivirus program upon starting my computer, there were background programs related to Comodo antivirus running that were removing my win64. I uninstalled comodo and restarted and not only am I not getting kicked from my game anymore, my old saved file returned and mouse function returned. Thanks for lighting the spark
