Will the mod I add afterwards works for the existing world

I was playing the original palworld server without any mods for a few hrs. And then I saw the Zoe outfit mods made me interested in adding mods. I scared I have to reopen a new world just only to play the mods and give up my previous world progress.

it depends on the mods and you should just ask the devs in their post. usually mods that replace existing assets will work on an existing game, if it adds content then probably not.

Just be aware some mods will affect other saves and online play. Depending on the mod, that is. Most of the cosmetic mods are client side and will not affect saves.
Just remember they can still mess with things graphically online too. Had my character's head disappear online due to a mod that made the other heads invisible. Made for a funny moment.
